The organization that invited you controls the hiring process and determines why your candidate information is used. Valases provides the platform that administers the assessment and related evidence on that organization's behalf.
Information involved
Depending on the assessment, information may include your identity and contact details, answers, submitted files, formulas, code, timestamps, task activity, consent record, save and submission events, and reviewer outcomes. Proctored assessments may collect the additional information described in the Proctoring Notice.
How information is used
- Authenticate and deliver the issued assessment.
- Save, recover, submit, score, secure, and review your work.
- Investigate technical or integrity events.
- Support the inviting organization's human-led hiring process.
Automated and AI-assisted signals
Valases may calculate deterministic question or checkpoint scores and use AI to generate first-pass assessment feedback or assist integrity review. AI output and integrity signals are advisory evidence, not a final employment decision. The inviting organization is responsible for human review and the hiring outcome.
Retention and location
The inviting organization determines the applicable retention period and approved deployment arrangement. Contact that organization for the exact period, legal basis, region, and any request to access, correct, delete, restrict, or review your information.
